Super Bowl and Literature

For all y’all who hate sports, but love novels, from McSweeney’s: Super Bowl Predictions from Great Writers.

This comes down to a tie between Cormac McCarthy and Jane Austen, if you ask me.

I loved the Ayn Rand.

Good stuff.

That Keorauc read reminded me of the best stack of pancankes I ever had. They came steaming of the griddle in a little anonymous and all-american diner which on the way from here to there and yet still managed to live half forgotten in the daily chores of any given day. I left the last one on the plate as part of me wanted to believe that there would always be one last perfect pancake. Best not the jinx things if you can avoid it.
