I was in First Cup today, the coffee kiosk across the street, in the post office parking lot. While I was waiting for my sandwich, some jackass demanded hot water from the the man helping me and when he didn't get his hot water fast enough, he walked BEHIND the counter announcing "Don't fuck with me!" Holy shit.


When I called the precinct, they said they had a mobile police unit there until yesterday.


Oy.

@9: The term "life imprisonment" usually carries a maximum term with it, which I think is 25 years in the US (don't quote me on that). By giving a definite sentence that is much longer than a person will live, they're giving them an actual life sentence.
