Sadly, Dabney and his stache have made donations to Republican politicians in the past. :(

Keep in mind there's also a funeral procession for a firefighter happening today in downtown at the same time as the rally, so if you get a bleak vibe from something big today, don't worry, Obama is just fine.

You were able to see him? Usually the pol is in one of ten identical SUVs with dark-tinted windows so you can't tell which one. I've "seen" two vice-presidents (Bush and Quayle) but have no idea which vehicle they were actually in.

My last celeb sighting was Gary Shandling at the airport. And then that Butthole Surfers' song kept going through my head. Much as it is now. VIVA GIBBY!

Key Arena has filled to capacity and lower Queen Anne is full of disappointed folks who can't get in. Unscientific observation: Lots more people here than there were last night on pier 30.

Scientific observation: it's warmer and lighter out today than last night, plus OMG OMG OMG! Hannah Montana!

Scientific observation #2: There are a lot more people who need to work at 11 am than 8 pm.

Phil: A somewhat smaller venue (Pier 30 vs The Key) would probably account for that attendance disparity.

Also, Obama supporters are young and spry and take off work with impunity - while Hillaryites are older and presumably ridden with osteoporosis and need transporation, not to mention parking.

Hence, the unfairness of the caucuses - Mr. Pelz. If American Idol worked the way of the caucuses, Idol would have died a deserved death some seasons ago.

Totally walked by the green SUV (Southside of Key Arena) and then the police cordoned off the area it was in. Dude must have been in it the whole time.

What about Scott Speedman in that purple hatchback? And lest we forget Erik Palladino.
