News Oly Outrage Pt. 2

onOther state legislatures, the latest being New Hampshire—are capping rates on payday loans.
The measure would cap interest rates on the small loans - which now top 500 percent in annual terms - at 36 percent a year.
The Democratic near-super-majority in Olympia has killed Rep. Sherry Appleton’s (D-23, Kitsap) payday loan bill two years running now.

Josh,
Can I borrow $100? I'll pay you like 12%.
somebody go get our liberals back from portland.
Nothing spells party like usury.
This is a disgrace. Anytime you feel confident that the Democratic state legislature is doing the right thing by us, think of this.
Yeah, why are they doing this? If you fall victim to a payday loan scam, you get what you deserve. Either that or you don't mind 20% monhtly interest.
