Sweet.
I hear it's neck-and-neck in Iowa.
Doesn't Sen Clinton have to win both Texas and Iowa by at least 20 points?
Iowa again? Stop the madness!
That's impressive turnaround for a response ad.
FEAR YOU CAN XEROX
Hillary stole her ad idea from a user-generated McCain video from January:

Pass it on.
Impressive turnaround indeed. I think Obama has the most tech savy and creative staff on his campaign compared to Clinton and Mccain.
That was a fast response! Kerry should have been so fast in 2004.
@2 - These primaries have been so much fun... let's do them all twice!
Well first Hillary had me terrified that hordes of savage brown foreign men were lusting after my darling white girls, but now Obama has turned it completely around and made me dread my innocent white daughters being attacked by wild-eyed dark-skinned fiends from a far away land. Which one should I believe?
This guy will just NOT be caught napping (even at 3:00 a.m.....)
Every time I think of a snappy comeback, I look out and see it done even better than I had imagined.
Onward to November.
Is there anyone left who doesn't believe Obama is the better candidate for the Dems to have to take back the White House? Amazing campaign against a Clinton campaign machine that was thought to be unstoppable. Reminds me of the Pats playing the Colts this season, both good teams, but in the end the Pats just dominated. Can't wait to watch Obama crush McCain
Iowa - Ohio - I get confused by all these states with short names.
I wonder who will win Vermont on Tuesday?
I really like his response. It seems to me to be the most explicit contrast he's made on what I think is the most important difference between them: the value of experience versus the value of judgment. Experience in and of itself is meaningless. The point of experience is that hopefully you learn enough from it to make good decisions in the future. But I'm not at all convinced that Hillary has learned from her experiences. Meanwhile, even with (maybe) less experience, Obama seems to have superior judgment.
With such a titan as Obama how can we fail to win in November?
Wow. Obama figured out as early as 2007 that Afghanistan was more important than Iraq. I'm sorry I ever questioned him.
Am I the only person who finds this funny? I do like that the mf has a sense of humor.
Meinert @10:

Damn you, Meinert. Damn you. I was all ready to use my own lame sports analogy, inspired by this very ad, and then you beat me to it.
Anyway, I realize now the Obama campaign is the San Antonio Spurs of politics. They're fundamentally nice, decent folk, but they don't take any shit, and they have no compunction about going out and kicking ass.
Obama brings up an important point - what's experience add up to if you don't learn anything from it. Not only did Hillary royally screw up in supporting Bush on Iraq, but years later after she saw how Bush mangled everything, she voted again, along with McCain, to support Bush to go to war with Iran. Really, is that the judgement we want to vote into the White House again? On Iraq and war with Iran, Hillary seems to have taken the same positions as Bush and McCain. The decades more of experience McCain and Hillary have together over Obama doesn't give them an ounce more of judgement based on their choices.
I have total Obama fatigue.
I am totally over him.
@18, you can always vote for McCain, Nader, other, or don't vote. Think about the SC appointments when you do so.
@18: The curse of the American voter. God forbid our attention spans be challenged by something longer than a video game.
Oh, and, what Meinert said @10.
@ 19 , 20 -- I would never vote for McCain. I would never vote for a spoiler candidate either. I am a 4/4 voter and an activist, and a progressive (liberal, etc.) so whatever... but quite frankly I am getting sooooo tired of the whole Obama phenomenon.
Also, I don't play video games...I read books instead.
It's so tiring to come on to the SLOG- which I used to enjoy- to hear more people peeing there pants about Obama.
I stayed off the SLOG for the last 2 weeks b/c I was so irritated by 7 out of 10 posts being about how wonderful Obama is. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy and will vote for him but I am also realistic about what he can accomplish if he is elected.
Anyway, I think I will just continue to stay off the SLOG until November 2008. See you all back in 2009 when he gets into office and everyone has there big downer when they discover his shit stinks and he does not walk on water.
OK, ECB @22, but won't you still do posts on the SLOG?
I wonder who shot the video originally, did the Clinton campaign rent it from a stock agency? while that may save money, it seems like poor planing not to control the copyright to stuff your opponent might reuse against you.
I'm so not over Obama. This makes me love him even more. He's not gonna let McCain get anything past him. Not only is he gonna keep the fight on his terms- on his message- as Cressona says, he ain't gonna take no shit at all.
@ 24: According to CNN, the guy responsible for the video did a similar for Dukakis or Mondale (can't remember which). He lives in TX and supposedly is a Clinton supporter.
@24: Political ads almost always rely on stock footage. Too expensive and too time consuming to shoot original footage.
I think it's now obvious Obama is... a NINJA!
It just starts like Clinton's ad, you lay down your guard, and BAM! Obama flips out and kills everyone.
Yup. That's exactly what I thought when I saw her say -- as my GF pointed out -- "3 a.m. in the morning".
As opposed to, you know, 3 p.m. in the morning.
It's like she's going for a Bush-esque dumb-like-you thing. Which, uh, turns me off from her.
It's 7 p.m. and my children are eating dinner with me.... a phone rings in my living room... AND IT'S ANOTHER FREAKIN' OBAMA POLLSTER!!
I live in Ohio. Between the Obama poll calls and the Hillary robocalls, I'm damn near becoming a Huckabee fan. At least he never calls me during dinner.
Does anyone else here associate a 3 a.m. phone call with something more fun than war?
for both of these ads, I want to know why the person in the white house takes so goddamn long to answer an important call at 3 am. can't they afford an operator to work the night shift?
Vanity Fair rewrites it for Hilary...
