uuuuhhhhhh....
Ok.
Even I will admit that that's a little Messianic.
Hot damn... Jessica Alba AND Kerry Washington are supporting Obama? AND John Leguizamo? Wow. Count me in.
And is there a need for any more debates? I mean, Macy Grey's positions on foreign policy are really nuanced, and in terms of trade agreements, I hear that the actor that played the guy that killed Patrick Swayze in Ghost is really knowledgeable.
I mean, who needs Madeleine Albright when you have Theo FUCKING Huxtable?
Truthfully, this is pretty effing heavy-handed compared to the Yes We Can video. The Yes We Can video left me feeling inspired and hopeful. This video left me thinking about the phrase "cult of personality" and feeling generally nervous--I like Barack Obama, but I don't necessarily want these peoples' Kool-Aid.
funny seeing george lopez who uses the N word so freely at his LA shows.
" he will not be the president for corporations"
somebody is going to be dissapointed in about 2 years.
i dont know, he is fine, he deserves our support, money and vote, but come on now.
I won't be on board until I hear Andy Dick's endorsement!
This is terrible, and makes me hate celebrities more than ever. Hearing super-gorge Jessica Alba say "I would like a cleaner Earth" makes me want to dump detergent in Green Lake. I don't think that's the effect they're going for.
And the singing is awful.
It shows that Obama is closing the all-important Celebrity Gap.
Let me know when he snag's Martin Sheen's endorsement.
Or Charlie.
Or even Emilio Estevez....
i'm about as big a supporter of obama as you can get, but that video is pretty over the top. though did i see what's his name from queer as folk on there for a second? you know, the skinny blond one... randy something...
The singing reminded me of the song Ave Satani from the Omen soundtrack.
I actually liked this one more than the Yes We Can video.
Just as the F**king Matt Damon parodies need to stop, so do the Obama music videos.
Clearly, marketed for the Latino vote. As a hispanic, I feel a bit insulted. Simply chanting Obama's name won't get me to vote for the guy.
Weak.
Love it when one of the actresses (blanking on her name) is saying that she wants the war to end, but it sounds hilariously like she is saying she "basically want[s] the world to end."
I'm surprised Madeline Albright is still alive ...
Obama music vids rock my world! I'll be humming this at the Obama event upstairs at Von's (6th and Pike, next to Pacific Place) tonight that's from 5:30 to 8 pm.
I didn't like this one, but I didn't like the first one to begin with. Gimmicks don't make good music, will.
The song shouldn't be good because it's inspirational, it should be inspirational because it's good.
Even as a strongly committed Obamamerican, this struck me as dangerously close to the "One of Us, One of Us" chant from the classic movie FREAKS.
But I still prefer it to any video released so far by the Hillary camp. (Watch the "Hee-lar-ee for You and Me! Sesame-Street-like video again and prove me wrong.)
Wil.i.am is a cheesedick. Wil.i.wish.you'd.stop.
...and i hate how the white people nod their heads during the "OBAMA" chant. like their giving in to the hip hop beat, cuz it's out of their comfort zone to "act black".
Act black? Is this some kind of US thing? Cause I don't remember any of the black people I grew up with in Texas, Michigan, or BC "acting black"?
Or are you referring to being angry at being shat on repeatedly by society? Yeah, that happens - deal with it.
Sorry, but I think it's beautiful.

You should have said "Let me know when he snag's President Bartlett's endorsement." That way the sheep would have really known who you were talking about! :-D
Based on the title, I was hoping it was going to be Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" rewritten for Obama. Disappointment.
This video pretty much reassures me that I have made the right decision in supporting Hillary Clinton
@12
The times are seriously ripe for an "I'm fucking Obama" - "He's fucking Obama" video.
Yikes.
I am a huge Obama supporter but I found this pretty fucking creepy. The less people who see this video the better.
fan. creepy. but still better than the for you and me one.
@22: SHAKIRA SHAKIRA
you people are jaded. i cried over my cabbage salad and toast when i watched that. still sniffly. blort.
That was VERY disturbing...grossness!
FREAKY DEAKY!!!! God complex anyone?
I's getting a buimper sticker that says "Barak, save me from your followers".
Stop it people! I am a flaming liberal, lesbian, environmentalist, transit riding, NPR listening, woo woo Californian and this freaks me out. Middle America is really going to be freaked by this kind of craziness.
@ 24: that needs to happen now, while it still makes some sense. call snl asap.
Forgettable and harmless.
God, make these stop.
I liked the first one a lot, and this one had a few good moments... but yeah, I think it was over the top. And are all those people supposed to be famous? 'cuz if so, I'm really really out of it. I only recognized 4 or 5 of them. Hi, Luiz Guzman!
I hear that the actor that played the guy that killed Patrick Swayze in Ghost is really knowledgeable.
If you're talking about Luis Guzman, he wasn't in Ghost. Don't worry. I used to make that mistake all the time.
@36: Alas, you're right. :( Too bad, too... guess Obama doesn't know as much about trade as I thought he did.
I had a bunch of people tell me that the last video was so inspirational, and when I watched it, I was like, what? This isn't even anything, just a bunch of people saying Yes We Can.
This video is both better and worse. The Obama chanting is super creepy, but I appreciate that people are actually explaining why they are voting for him.
