Vomit.

Hot chick, so what. There's a million hot chicks. How about asshole George Lucas has a new idea for a change? What's it been, twenty years now?

While you're at it, why not mention that The Tolkein Trust pulled the plug on The Hobbit, seeing as New Line never paid them a dime for the first three movies?

Meh. Between the shitty prequels and Lucas's repeated tampering with what were once classic films, I'm done with Star Wars.

Did you guys ever watch the Clone Wars animated series that came out between EPs 2 and 3? It was stylized, dark and very cool.

I, for one, am looking forward to this

More like 31 years, Fnarf.

@5: I think he was referring to Indiana Jones. But maybe that's just me.

But will there be parliamentary procedure?

Yup, Fnarf, it's official, you're getting old. Next thing you'll be reminiscing about Sandy Koufax . . . oh, wait a minute.

Is anyone waiting outside the Cinerama yet?

I'm not getting old, 5280. I'm getting well-seasoned. And I think it's a lot "older" in outlook to keep watching the same goddamn movie for 30+ years. I like my cultural products fresh and lively. My 18-year-old niece just turned me onto "Firefly", so now, unlike George Lucas, I'm only five years out of date....

I for one am looking forward to the Wii-enabled light saber game spinoffs, as I'm sure Ms Munn is in that pic ...

Some of this Star Wars crap would have been amazing. I at least would have bought the Cloud City lamp.

You know, I saw eps 1-3, and I'm pretty sure they were all computer-animated, too, thus the incredibly bad acting. While I am tentatively excited for this, I'm not going to be dusting off the lawn chair for the wait. I'll probably just Netflix it instead, because I've thrown enough money at George Lucas for a lifetime.

@fnarf: Firefly? Welcome to the dark side. Joss Whedon is my god now!

I saw that poorly drawn Gendy Tartofsky show on Cartoon Network, it was aweful.

If they are not going to let star wars die like they should, they should do some CG type show along in the style of that Final Fantasy movie from a few years ago. It's better than finding another wooden actor like Hayden Christiensen (He was pretty to look at though).

If it's made by Tartakovsky, it'll be better than anything Lucas ever did.

Would someone be kind enough to film the Thrawn Trilogy?

@20: Hasn't happened yet, probably never will. Hell, they're nowhere near doing anything with the Rogue Squadron books - not even as games, man. Which would totally work. Nope, it's just Eps. IV, V, and VI again and again and again.
