Hutcherson and his followers will undoubtedly be at tomorrow night's meeting to raise a stink, but a number of local political groups will also be attending to support McCormick, including representatives from the Human Rights Coalition, N.O.W., the Northwest Women's Law Center... This is behaviour for which a student would be held accountable, so it appropriate that a teacher, who is to model appropriate behaviour, should also be accountable for. All of the gay and lesbian rights discussion is not applicable at all in this scenario, bad behaviour on the part of a teacher is.
