meanwhile here's a good site on superdelegates.

I think it indicates that the "follow your state" principle would advantage Clinton (at this point in time).

Before I vote for Obama or Hillary, I demand to know whether they favor a tunnel, or a viaduct rebuild!

This might seem crazy, but I think Obama will get a slight bump from Mitt dropping out. I know the conservative right is drooling over the prospects of running against Hillary, but a handful of conservative Republicans I've spoken with would rather vote for change (Obama) than follow party lines. And yes, some will be caucusing tomorrow...

The article about the mass shooting in Kirkwood, MO probably should fall under the "And they'll know we are Christians by our..." category. Especially with quotes like this:

"She said she never suspected that her son would be violent but described the events as “an act of God, just like a storm or a tornado.”

Mr. Thornton’s sister-in-law, Doreen Thornton, said he had had a 17-year-old daughter and said she could not understand what had happened.

“Cookie never got mad,” Ms. Thornton said. “He was a people person. Cookie was known through his church to be a No. 1 kind of man.”

yeah, that Kirkwood thing was a bad scene. K-wood is a nice suburb of The Lou. Apparently, this dude was always being a pain in the ass at the city council meeting. I guess he finally lost it...

Remember kids, the gubamint wants you to spend that $600-$1,200 "rebate" as soon as possible.

However, I suggest "spending" it on your 2008 taxes, since that's where it's being borrowed from in the first place.

Of course, that won't help the economy in the short-term, but it'll sure help your pocket-book come April '09.

Holy crap, the crazed gunman in MO was a Thornton? I'm a Thornton. Not a crazed gunman, though. OK, not a gunman. But I'll bet the security at city council chambers around the country just got tighter, and kooks with agendas will have a harder time finding time to speak.
