And, of course, the regular Tuesday night meeting of Drinking Liberally will be held at the Montlake Ale House, 2307 24th Avenue E.

And for any expats in the audience, go vote! (And if you're in Vancouver, hang out at the pub after you vote to join us in watching the returns.)

While I loved the Tap House Grill for a prior Obama watch, it's way more expensive and way more formal than Moe's.

See you at Moe's!

Of course this Tuesday is also Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras)

I agree with Cow. I saw some pics of people in Malaysia voting their absentee ballots at the local embassy - don't forget to vote! You can get caucus materials online and the embassies are always helpful to expats.

(A follow-up re: voting abroad: on the linked page is a PDF with voting stations in 33 countries. If you're anywhere near any of them, you don't even have to pre-register--just bring the listed ID and come vote.

This is all new to me; since I turned 18, every election, I've voted in Seattle.)

Collins Pub and Montlake Ale House allow minors; do Moe Bar and Tap House as well?

@10: If you so much as approach Mr. Poe's beverage, I will stuff the drinking glass so far down your throat you will shit Chihuly's for a week.

Consider yourself warned. It's violence season on Cap Hill, Ecce, and I feel like getting with the times when you're concerned...

Is that a threat of physical violence against me? Sure sounds like it.

And notice I said "AGAIN". It won't be the first time Poe has had Ecce spit in his drink.

@12: A threat? No. Not a threat.

You do realize that threatening posts are considered a violation of SLOG comments policy correct?

@17: You call it a threat. I call it maize.

If it's removed, I am at peace. You saw it, and that's really the only audience the post required.

Good day.

Sorry to break it to you all, but it's gonna be several DAYS before anyone has results from California. They're using paper ballots.

Fifty-two Eighty, does that mean we get to stay at Moe's drinking for days?

Canada runs their entire election on paper ballots and has election results in time for the evening news.

And they use pencils.

You got a problem with that?
