Seattle, WA- Grassroots supporters of presidential candidate Barack Obama (D-IL) announced today that they will be holding a “Super Tuesday Results Watch Party” tomorrow, Tuesday, February 5, starting at 5:00 pm at the Tap House Grill located at 1506 Sixth Avenue (next to Nike Town) in downtown Seattle. The Obama campaign’s Washington State Chair, Congressman Adam Smith (D-Tacoma) will make an appearance to urge supporters to caucus for Obama at the Washington state caucuses next Saturday, February 9.
Received at 2:52 p.m. from the Clinton camp:
The Clinton campaign will hold an election night watch party, Tuesday, February 5 in Seattle at the Collins Pub. Washington State Co-Chairs Former Governor Gary Locke, King County Executive Ron Sims and Congressman Jay Inslee will join supporters to watch the returns and cheer on Hillary. (Who: Washington For Hillary When: Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST Where: Collins Pub 526 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104 **Open to all ages.)
But really, why go to the Tap House Grill or Collins Pub when you can be at MoeBar with the Slog crowd?
We’ll be drinking and LiveSlogging, so if you can’t make it to MoeBar to watch the returns with us, just follow along online. We’ll be at the bar, and on the blog, until either California is called or we can’t type anymore—whichever comes first.

And, of course, the regular Tuesday night meeting of Drinking Liberally will be held at the Montlake Ale House, 2307 24th Avenue E.
And for any expats in the audience, go vote! (And if you're in Vancouver, hang out at the pub after you vote to join us in watching the returns.)
While I loved the Tap House Grill for a prior Obama watch, it's way more expensive and way more formal than Moe's.
See you at Moe's!
Of course this Tuesday is also Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras)
I agree with Cow. I saw some pics of people in Malaysia voting their absentee ballots at the local embassy - don't forget to vote! You can get caucus materials online and the embassies are always helpful to expats.
(A follow-up re: voting abroad: on the linked page is a PDF with voting stations in 33 countries. If you're anywhere near any of them, you don't even have to pre-register--just bring the listed ID and come vote.
This is all new to me; since I turned 18, every election, I've voted in Seattle.)
Collins Pub and Montlake Ale House allow minors; do Moe Bar and Tap House as well?
what happened to the Westin for the Obama folks?
Um, maybe not, @7.
I'll be there.
Guess which one I am, I will NOT be wearing a name tag.
I will provide one hint. I am have XY chromosomes.
I look forward to spiting in your drink again Poe.
@10: If you so much as approach Mr. Poe's beverage, I will stuff the drinking glass so far down your throat you will shit Chihuly's for a week.
Consider yourself warned. It's violence season on Cap Hill, Ecce, and I feel like getting with the times when you're concerned...

Is that a threat of physical violence against me? Sure sounds like it.
And notice I said "AGAIN". It won't be the first time Poe has had Ecce spit in his drink.
@10 - sigh. Go lick a doorknob in Switzerland, Mr. Poe.
(oops ... meant ecce homo ... freudian slip? we'll never know, but actually Mr. Poe is ok some of the time)
Will, maybe this week I'll spit in YOUR drink instead.
Or maybe just sneeze on you. I have had the flu so I can give you the gift that keeps on giving.
@12: A threat? No. Not a threat.
You do realize that threatening posts are considered a violation of SLOG comments policy correct?
@17: You call it a threat. I call it maize.
If it's removed, I am at peace. You saw it, and that's really the only audience the post required.
Good day.
dude, i'd throw down to protect poe.
Jubilation, I look forward to meeting you and also possibly being granted an audience with Mr Poe, but in the meantime please don't feed the trolls.
Sorry to break it to you all, but it's gonna be several DAYS before anyone has results from California. They're using paper ballots.
Fifty-two Eighty, does that mean we get to stay at Moe's drinking for days?
Canada runs their entire election on paper ballots and has election results in time for the evening news.
And they use pencils.
You got a problem with that?
I'm terrified. Fuckin' fear and trepidation.
Pfffffffftt!
