RSS icon Comments on McCain: A Proud Conservative Liberal Republican

The reality is that McCain, like Bush before him, will appoint anti-consumer anti-American activist radical Red Bushie judges to the US Supreme Court.

And engage America in more foreign wars of adventure like Iraq and Iran, while keeping our troops bogged down there for 100 years, and maybe 10,000 years if they can.

While shipping US jobs overseas and not renegotiating NAFTA, FTAA, the WTO, or other trade deals that ignore pollution, labor, and fairness concerns.

That's the cold hard truth.

The smile from the girl in the back is classic. Thought this may have been on purpose but it does not appear to me to be on purpose.

Pithy response: Boy, we're getting Reagan all over again--only the Alzheimer's is setting in EARLIER this time.

Political response: Freudian slip indeed? Check out the reports that after the vicious 2000 primary election, angry at how the Republicans treated him, McCain was in serious talks to jump from the GOP to the Dems, and if Jeffords hadn't beat him to it, he'd be a Democrat today.

@3 - some people have been noticing some irrational behavior by GWB too - will we have both a Pres and former Pres with AD, or will Pres Clinton make it three at a time?

I think he just got confused about which mistress he was sleeping with and which one he was married to, that's John's problem ...
