There's reportedly too much disagreement in the Democratic caucus about the bill. Basically, the bill reconstitutes Sound Transit to spend its money on roads and transit and makes the agency accountable to a regional elected board. At the Port of Seattle hearing in Olympia she was badgering testifiers in support of the ill-conceived and ill-timed idea to lessen Port accountability by merging it with the successful Port of Tacoma.

Reforming an agency by the people who were the problem in the first place might be a smart action on their part. Thankfully at least some of our State legislators are wise to the lies.
