First: that's some pretty sweet animation, I have to say. Second, I think that the movie makes some good (but oft-covered) points. Third, I think that the ending--"Every human being would become completely transparent"--is maybe an eentsy little bit histrionic.... Think of Google as the modern library, where everyone's got an autobiography. Yes, *auto*-biography. The information available about us on the web, all of the private things that only each individual knows, we place there ourselves. If and when the human genome project reaches a point where every person's is catalogued and searchable for known traits, we'll have much larger issues at hand than whether Google has it.

@2- the public, rather smartly, rejected Microsoft's 'Passport' notion a few years back about creating a 'web identity', primarily because it was expensive and had Microsoft at the middle. Google and others are trying the same thing these days, for free, for better or for worse.

Of course, red and black also evokes the Nazis.

Also, note that the Director/Producer team are Ozan Halici & Jurgen Mayer, and that they are also credited as the animators and designers.

Halici at least appears to be a motion designer based in Germany:
