I watched that video last week and I couldn't keep the grin off my face. Beautiful work.

The group itself, Improv Everywhere, pulls some truly bizarre stunts.

I'm wondering with all the creative types in this area, why there aren't more of these happening in Seattle?

Anyone want to organize a Stranger "Mission Improvable" mission?

Theme ideas anyone?

anyone seen showtime's "this american live" episode on improv everywhere? they got all of their people together to memorize songs by an unpopular band, then go to their show so that they would feel like real rock stars. it was pretty entertaining, but ended up really hurting the band because they felt they were being mocked. it was an interesting piece.

You have to check out their other stunts. The one where they sent 80 people into a Best Buy wearing royal blue shirts and khakis (the Best Buy employee uniform) and just stand around is priceless. No Pants Day is good, too. We could do that here! Except, doh! We don't have a rail transit system. Salt Lake City does....

Comment by Gay Seattle

Much better than previous performances in that they did not drag it on too long with slow motion and other stuff. My favorite part is the couple late to catch a train that freezes and afterwards continues to rush on, checking his watch as if nothing happened.

i've seen examples of Seattle's Improv talents in Cal Anderson park last summer. it must have been extremely embarrassing for those people to prove their inability to act in front of random strangers in a public park. please keep random improv events out of seattle, especially if the same lame assholes who ruin quiet sunsets at Cal Anderson with their intrusive "improv" practice or whatever are going to be participating. those fucks need to die or move someplace else. i'd rather deal with stinky junkies than theater majors doing improv in the park.
