posted by on February 7 at 13:59 PM

The National Women’s Political Caucus is holding a pre-caucus rally and info session at Spitfire, 2219 Fourth Ave., tomorrow night from 6 to 8 pm. If you still need pro-Hillary talking points or information on how to caucus, this is where to get it. More info available here.

Make a note of it ND!

Are men allowed, or is this a woman-only event?

Oh come on - I'm sure there are more than 4 of us out there...

McCain attacking Obama and Clinton now, waving white flag of surrender etc.

I'm a Hills supporter. For Supreme Court Justice or HHS Secretary. She has the experience with depositions and with Children's Health issues. Perfect fit, either of them.

I sure hope all of you take public transit or bike there.

Well?

Way more than four, but they keep their heads down. Angry Slogmobs are not pleasant, as you've shown us.

Amelia? You still won't be 18 in November? It seems like you've been 17 for ages and ages.

Contrary to the contrarian streaks here among the Sloggies, I will actually go and listen to what Mrs. Clinton has to say. I'm still going to caucus for Obama, but Mrs. Clinton is a sister Democrat, and will bring many great ideas and energy to an Obama administration.

Hils "I love cluster bombs" Clinton?

Fuck that!

Change is the air, it's not coming from Bill's camp.

Look forward to ECB eating her words about Kennedy when Obama wins WA despite 2 Women Sen's and a possibly a Woman Gov. endorsing her campaign.

Caucausing for Hills, but I have to leave work to do it. I wasn't going to, but this is important!

Re: talking points and such...do I actually have to speak at the caucus?

From my experience Tuesday, so many people are going to show up that you won't be able to talk even if you want to. Think thousands.

Let me try that again without the bracket.

@17 That's what scares me. They have our little dinky K-5 school with less than 500 students hosting the caucuses for 8 different precincts.

And some people who are leaning Obama will still show up at the Clinton rally to listen to her speak.

She is a good speaker - it's just that Obama is an excellent speaker ...

Obama is an excellent speaker. No argument on that. But we're not electing a speaker, which is why I'm glad Hillary supporters like me have a competent, experienced, inspiring candidate for PRESIDENT.

This "Hils" thing strikes me as false familiarity and a false attempt at humanizing the candidate. I don't see how it helps her likeability.

However, it does offer a good chance of turning off people who don't already worship at her feet, so, on second thought, keep it up.

So do we who support Obama, ECB, so do we.

@19, yeah, Mike, it was a total freak show. The line to get in literally went on for blocks. In 15° weather. And snow.

ECB, you're electing john mccain. enjoy.

@23, you really care if she's called "Hils?" Seriously?

My friends and I have been facetiously calling them "O-street" and "H-bomb."

Senator Clinton's not referring to herself Hils. Why does it bother you so much what other people call her?

I like hillicrats myself.

@27,

@27 - "Hils" is so cutesy and forced. "H-bomb" would actually be preferable; I could see voting for an "H-bomb", but not a "Hils".

Whatever happened to good, old-fashioned "Hildebeast?"

Save your ammunition for McCain - its going to be a tough fight for November and there are worlds of difference between our two leading Democrats and McCain. No need to do the Republican's dirty work.

A big "meh" to all the haters. I'm an Obama supporter, but I don't have any beef with Hillary's campaign positions. I'm actually excited that we have two good candidates for the Democratic nominee, and I plan to get behind whichever one is picked at the convention. I just prefer Barack of the two.
