Great. Now the only woman I could ever love have one less thing in common.

Can we stop having a new black? Can't black be our new black?

Comedy. Some make it looks easy. Some make it look impossible.

"Come on Texas and Ohio, get on board. It's not too late!"

Blatant campaigning like that would never fly on Stewart or Colbert's show. If Fey has an agenda, she should have kept it off SNL.

Tina Fey is teh hotness. I'd go straight for her. For at least a day or so.

Aach!

Not sure she helped Hillary at all, but it was spot on. My thanks to the Stranger for filling me in on what goes on after my bedtime.

The Jeff Conway drop was obscure and con-fus-ed me.

Isn't a co-presidency what we have with Bush-Cheney?

But it was funny, still for Obama though!

tina fey is so the bomb.

I actually watched (most of) SNL this weekend -- even before the writers' strike I typically didn't watch it. I thought the political humor was pretty funny, this bit included.

Who cares if Tina Fey has an "agenda"? And, does the opening skit (where the CNN debate hosts fall all over themselves for Obama) also count as pushing an agenda? What about letting Huckabee pimp himself?

Jeff Conway is the former "Taxi" star who is now addicted to pain killers on "Celebrity Rehab."

Rush Limbaugh is also addicted to pain killers and likes to take broken-dick medicine (viagra) on his boys-only trips to the Bahamas.

You do the math.

At least she made a joke of what is obvious to me. That was awesome.

About a month too late, but otherwise awesome.

Even I can't ignore this new WA state poll.

In a John McCain-Hillary Clinton matchup, McCain leads 49-45 percent. In a McCain-Barack Obama race, Obama wins 55-40.

Fuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhck.

abandoning hillary? can't people decide for themselves without it being called 'abadoning'... this word choice to me ties into that whole notion that this was hillary's election. my choice is for democracy and obama.

Post the opening clip of the spot-on parody of how everyone is falling all over Obama!!!

@5 - have you EVER watched SNL before? Especially the Weekend Update when Tina Fey was cohost? This is the kind of material that makes me willing to sit thorugh the first 45 minutes of mediocre skits.

I've never watched Jon Stewart's show, but if his Oscars hosting is anything to go by, I have a hard time believing he doesn't insert his political agenda into his show.

All celebrities are supposed to be for Obama! I'm confused!

I'm going to unfriend Tina Fey on MySpace and take 30Rock off my Facebook favorites! That'll show that bitch!

If she does not support Obama then she is clearly a racist!

Pretty funny.
The thing is though, most of us don't want a President to be bitching at us.
By the way, I've finally figured out what would satisfy the subset of Clintinistas who whine and moan about Press coverage of Obama, nothing. That particular group of folks can't get by without seeing her and themselves as perpetual victims. Kind of like the little brat that gets angry when other kids won't play with them.

Seriously? I mean, she's about as funny as Dennis Miller. As in the I'm right, you're wrong, now everybody laugh damn you, type of funny.

Mike in IA@23: Tina's comment was the opposite of whiny. She isn't saying anything about Obama. She's saying that Clinton is a great, strong candidate. But thank you for playing.

e@24: seriously. Or rather, humorously.

"That particular group of folks can't get by without seeing (Nader) and (branding) themselves as perpetual victims. Kind of like the little brat that gets angry when other kids won't play with them."

Mike in Iowa...I think you just perfectly described the anti-Nader lemmings.
Thanks!

According to Slog commenters, you are a lemming if you do one or more of the following:

A. Do not support Ralph Nader (@26 above)

B. Support Barack Obama (because it's hip to like Obama)

C. Support Hillary Clinton (because you're only voting for her since she's a woman)

These conflicting messages are confusing. As a Slogger, I am apparently unable to think for myself, so will someone please tell me who to vote for, already?

@27

Totally. On a blog with 1,000 regulars who'd have thunk mashing up all their points of view would be confusing?

This was the best part of SNL on Saturday Night.

I may support Obama, but I loved it!

1000 regulars? There's just like four of us, with characters for each of our moods:

You= Reality Check= annie= cressona
Will in Seattle= wile_e_quixote= brandon= Fnarf
me= unPC= Obama SuperFan= ECB
Mr. Poe= ...well... Mr. Poe

@28. My comment was not about the diversity of views on Slog, but about the fact that many commenters seem to accuse others of not thinking for themselves (i.e., being a lemming), when their opinions differ (I'm looking at you, patrick).

Maybe, just maybe, people with different opinions are actually well-informed about the issues, they just happen to have reached a different conclusion.

Basically, it's people who cannot understand how anyone with a brain could have a different opinion than them, so anyone who does must be a stupid lemming.
