Investigators say a man has been charged with child abuse in Caldwell County for circumcising his two infant sons with a utility knife. Authorities said 32-year-old Johnny Eric Marlowe, a self-admitted polygamist, fathered children with his legal wife and another woman who lives in their home.One gave birth to a boy at their home in the rural Kings Creek community in November 2005, and the other gave birth to a boy there four months later…. Detective Shelly Hartley said Marlowe doesn’t like hospitals and denied the women prenatal care in both cases, then circumcised the boys when they were 8 days old.

I like the Every Child series; not only does it take up the Last Days mantle of reporting horrible things that happen to, or around, children, I still think the point - that differently-sexed parents are not inherently better than same-sex ones - is valid, and something I don't mind being reminded of nearly every day.
Then skip 'em, some dude. They're pretty clearly labeled, and you have the power to scroll right past 'em.

that's my point. it is a valid issue, like comment 2 said, but it gets so overdone it just gets skipped over and ignored. desensitizing people to this shit doesn't help make some kind of point, it just makes people tune it out.

subwlf--You got a chapter and verse for that flint claim? Not that the bible is anything approaching historical in a modern sense, but even in 1900 BCE (the time of Abraham and Sarah) there were definitely knives around.
That second one just supports my theory that most dentists are evil.
And once again they bring up polygamy as if it is somehow the cause for an idiot's actions. That always annoys me to no end.
