It also looks like an interpretation of a rapidly growing city — a disjointed grid structure that seems like it's in the midst of change, dark areas to suggest water or holes in the ground, two sides with some tentative bridge between the two....
Maybe that's too literal, I don't know.
Anyway it's cool, I like it.
