Yes, and after the Republicans boycotted the vote. Sore losers.
Yeah, for those of you who think Hillary is skanky, read the story to see how the real pros do it.
Like all toothless Congressional actions against the lawless Bush administration, this too will come to naught. The Democratic majority is consistently spineless and always opts out of executing its duty to enfore checks and balances. SO DAMN FRUSTRATING!!!!
Like that'll matter to them.
You know, there's some jail cells beneath Congress that aren't in use ... just saying.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!
Why on earth, other than making a mountain out of a molehill for political headlines, are the Dems investigating this? those attorneys served "at the pleasure of the President". He could have fired them because he didn't like the way they part their hair, and it would have been just fine. The Dems need to STFU and get to the real business of governing this country, and not just doing things to promote themselves.
But Bob, he was firing them for doing their jobs. That's different.
Ron Paul was one of the 3 Republicans who voted in favor - good for him.
This is nice and all, but where's the special prosecutor for warrantless wiretapping? The special prosecutor for waterboarding and missing CIA tapes? The special prosecutor for signing statements? The special prosecutor for extraordinary rendition? If firing federal attorneys is the only thing that's being investigated, it's a fucking travesty.
