Can anyone tell me what 'calling' NY for Clinton actually means in terms of the Democratic race? Because as far as I can tell, it's essentially meaningless reportage.

I'm in Kansas and just got home, at my location 75% Obama, 25% Clinton. I am in the Lawrence area (the small area of blue surrounded by idiots).

Lawrence, KS here too. At our location, in the first count, Clinton was barely viable. After reshuffling, Obama won 9 delegates and Clinton won 2. We had record turnout. And they told us that one of the other caucus locations had been shut down by the fire marshal because too many folks showed up.

Multiple polling places in Albuquerque and around NM were running out of ballots and people were voting by writing their choice on bits of paper and signing it (and hoping it'll be counted later). Word on the street (or in the bar, as the case may be) from the Obama crew tonight said only 40,000 ballots were printed and the turnout is AT LEAST 3x that. Also, people waited in line for hours just to get into the polling places (in 30ish-degree weather).

Right now, HRC is up by 115 votes with around 120,000 total votes cast...provisional ballots and those scraps of paper still to be counted. It's going to be awhile before we know who "wins" and it's pretty much a tie anyway...
