None of them are winner-take-all for the Dems. For the other guys, AZ, CT, DE, GA, MO, NJ, NY, OK, UT, and WV are winner-take-all.

In AL (Republican) it's winner-take-all if one candidate gets 50%, otherwise proportional. In CA, it's w-t-a in congressional districts, which means it's more like proportional. In CO, they caucus today but award no delegates until the county conventions. In GA, 30 delegates are w-t-a, 39 are by district. In OK, it's 23 w-t-a statewide, then 15 by district. In MT, it's w-t-a for 19, 3 by district. MN has an impossible to understand system that may or may not allocate delegates at their caucuses.

IL appears to be mostly proportional, but there are two ballots, one with the candidates' names on them, which doesn't count, the other with the delegates' names on it, which does. You tell me what that means.

In AK, AR, ID, KS, MA, NM, ND, TN are proportional for the Republicans.

Dear Slog,

Please stop it with the 'calling' of states on the Dem side. It makes you look as stupid as your mainstream counterparts.

OK?

OK!

Fnarf @ 7: CA is even a little more complicated from what I gather. Unless one of them gets more than 62.5% in a district they split...thus the search for districts with odd numbers of delegates.

I grew up in Arkansas and just talked to my mom. She told me something that might explain why Hillary is cleaning up in the red states: Apart from the rampant racism there, people are afraid of a "rumor" going around town that Obama is a Muslim. Apparently a lot of people also think he could be the Antichrist. It makes me very sad. I'm glad I left.
