I have a sincere question -- do these endorsements matter to anyone? I've been thinking about whether they matter to me and mostly, I don't think they do, one way or the other.
Just wondering...
Let me reiterate that the only Kennedy opinion that matters is Ted's. All the other Kennedys are the Kato Kaitlin's of the political world.
@1 - I think endorsements can have more of a negative affect than a positive one. This is a good example.
I support Obama, and Pat Kennedy's endorsement won't change that.
However, as a Rhode Island voter, I know that Pat Kennedy is a worthless on-again-off-again drunk and rage freak who should not be trusted with a bowl of oatmeal, nevermind a seat on the ways and means committee. So his endorsement is much more a strike against Obama as far as I'm concerned.
Endorsements are only positive if the endorser is almost universally respected. People with last names like Kennedy, Kerry, Delay, and Gingrich should stay out of the endorsement game.
Why are Kennedy's still being elected to anything?
If nothing else, they matter if the endorsement comes from a superdelegate.
I always base my votes on the endorsements of 3rd generation Kennedys.
Who is William Kennedy Smith supporting?
