Any news on that guy who the SPD was trying to talk down from standing on the overpass next to the stadium?

We won by 21. Beautiful. Let's see the 'Skins mention THAT in the post-game conferences.

That was a good game. I highly recommend watching it on TV with the sound off and listening on KIRO 710...
Except there's a 2 second delay so you hear the play before you see it barely, but it beats listening to Madden.

I wanted to see that asshole Joe Gibbs damn The Almighty for handing them this humiliating 4th-quarter collapse.

And... WHY don't they just sit Shawn Alexander down? He just is -not- doing it. Yes he has had a great career, and has a great smile, but he's done.

"Seahawks beat Washington" = non parallel construction. Obvious reason: avoid the R-word.

"Seattle beat Washington" = parallel construction *and* avoids the R-word.

Go Seagulls! Whooohoo!

I see these posts, and I always think, "nobody who reads this thing gives a fuck about the Gulls", but then there are comments from people who do, apparently, give a fuck.

Who ARE you? Where do you live? Do you have a secret neighborhood off in a corner somewhere? Because I've never met you.

transcend your silly snobbishness, sports can be fun if you just relax. this isn't high school anymore, the jocks aren't out to get you.

Football mania in Seattle is nothing like it in NY, Pittsburgh, Dallas, DC, Philly....

We're fans, but skiing and hiking are priorities, too. Not so much in Philly, DC, NY, Dallas.....

Yo I just got back from the game and the celebration afterwards. It was a great Saturday. The Hawks got sloppy and washington came back, but the D was on, the D was on, we were all over their qb like a cheap suit. This D is for real, were fast and we(they) stuff the run.

im gonna be crudo( hungover) tomorrow, but it was fun. any other sloggers make it to the game? Bring on the PACK or bury our hearts in Lambo field.....

I am sad my Bears our out, but hey we are use to that in Chicago. and...... Since my nephew lives in Seattle and is a fan and I HATE HATE HATE the packers, I will be routing for the Seahwaks! BEAT THOSE PACKERS! Make Seattle Fans proud, and a few Chicago ones too!

@5: John Madden wasn't doing the Seahawks game. KIRO sucks -- nothing but drunk drivers and Dori Monson.

I too love the 21-point victory. The Sean Taylor storyline was so fucking tired. When the racists took their one-point lead, Cris (AKA "Chris") Collinsworth actually told the TV audience that Sean was "looking down from the heavens". Fucking bullshit.

Now we'll get 7 days of Brett Favre blowjobs. I hope the Hawks D sends him into retirement. Then Romo, then Brady.

And once all simple storylines are killed, America shall hate our team. But Seattle will love them!

Good job Seahawks D. You saved the goddamned day. Stuffing Portis all day was how the Hawks put their flag on the moon.

Christ, is there gambling in Vegas for a sports storyline to pan out or not? (Sean Taylor: It ain't your fault. Your ghost got wrung dry by every cynical vulture on the airwaves.)
