Total tangent, but what's the deal with Joe Biden? He's pretty middle of the road, but I really can't find a big fault with guy, and he seems pretty decent as a candidate. No coverage because he's not making out of the primary?

Eli
Two questions:
1) Why don't these guys ever where coats?
2) Why is nobody writing about Obama right now?
Thanks

Love that gas guzzler in the background. I'm sure Edwards is spending lots of time telling Iowans about how evil their SUVs are and how as president he would work hard to keep Iowans from driving them.

He is a looker all right. Didja see the photo in the NYTimes last week of him from 1980? He was with his wife and his son - the one who was killed in an SUV accident.

Tragedy aside, in 1980 he was 27, and lookswise had major gay face and hair. I bet we momos hit on him every. dang. day. I'd love to hear him talk about that experience - maybe some braver soul could submit it as a YouTube debate question?

poster Girl - in answer to your first question:

Candidates tend to not wear coats in hypercold wintery places because said coats tend to be pretty bulky and not terribly flattering in the many photo op situations.

Similarly, some candidates do not wear coats because because their staff thinks this makes them look more strong, hearty, able to take cold air, contributing to a general opinion that their candidate is stronger or healthier than the other candidates.

Me? Ex-midwesterner? I think they should put their damn coats on. Getting sick is not going to make the campaign trail any easier in the long run, and we all know that it's cold. Duh.

Hope that helps...
