After falling into disrepair, the Black House was sadly demolished in 2001. The current owners of the property built three cheesy condominiums in its place that are just now up for sale. Anton LaVey, of course, is the founder of the Church of Satan. This has nothing to do with the Black Houses of Olympia, those magical and secretive punk/artists residences owned by a man known locally as "the Dark Dentist."... Of course most of them were transplants from New England. If public schools insist on teaching Kerouac, I'd like to see a special aside in those printings like they've done in Twain's works for racial epithets, educating future generation on why "Frisco" is antiquated and unacceptable.

It's worse than WARshington, which oddly seems perpetrated by native Washingtonians exclusively.
