It's Saturday night. The last people we want to listen to are you and ECB. We want Kelly O.
Goldy has it advertised as 7:30 start time for you.
I'm listening to RainyDawg trance and electronica.
A good topic would be why race-based tactics and the Politics of Fear no longer work in the post-9/11 2008 cycle.
The thing I like about Josh's Feit, is that he and The Stranger crew take on the big ones... live on slogline.
Unlike editorial blundering comatose in transitive verbage vacillating in the myriad delay of print publications... the stranger makes no observable denial in the falsification of peoples private pillow talk and the unearthing of daylight stories set on high from the ramshackled and worn hand-me down weekly sifting of worthy gossip.
I came here today to leave "small and tiny tell tale signs"... not unlike Monty Pythons Mr. Mellish.
My signs are words... and most of us understand the value of words in relationship to intellect and property rights... which by the way I am currently studing the fine art of hidden flats and pop-ups... better known in the realestate market as high-rises.
What does this have to do with a legitimate comment on Mr. Feits' offering... not much unless you consider the fact that you need to write a letter to the PI or Times to get a word in edge-wise... and here, well here The Stranger takes on all comers.
Take for instance, Sunday, January 27th, 2008 opinion page in the Seattle Post Intelligencer...
As a declared self appointed stubborn homeless person I have little legally defendable position monitarily to print or publish opinion for payment, yet I do have access to a place that loves the dirge as much as they love a dick.
So here goes nothing....
My Opinion in Yakima to Seattle...
Feed back for Ralph Nelson and Don Butler, from Yakima and Seattle... in no paticular order.
The beauty of opinions is that if ( and mind you that is a big if..) you get lucky enough to have your opinions printed in the 'newspaper' wall-ah!
You get a lifetime of collecting papers, articles, snippets of clippings and snapshots from various paper chases... all paid for by yes...you guesed it!
Inside the halls of justice, bush league
(a term from my youth denoting minor or unprofessional status... ie. the scrub leagues...) political hacks suffer under the fading twilight.... the once great anthems and love songs turned into self-parody at the expense of a failed bait and switch plan. The clear display of enviornmental impact.
Unlike Mr. Butler, with faceless anonimity in black and white print, the opinion torch bearer ( that's me and an army of millions) scan the streets and gossip chains looking for institutionalized examinations that publishers must provide consistant proof of evidence for, free from the obscure self referential pandering that easily unmasked the disguise of the late, great Barney the Clown.
Ask Mr. Nelson if a road race from eastern Washington to Florida would be benificial to his opinions in Yakima and see who sends in the clowns next November.
It's that easy.
Everybody on the chain gang knows for a fact we are just here paying rent anyway... and if you are lucky... one of your crazy friends will hang around with you for a year or two and clean up the proverbial streets for those who play to win and live to steel in the paths where no man will go before lunchtime.
If you have not heard of the late great Barney the Clown, fear not, for each generation shall hand out, amongst themselves memories molded in time to foster the whim and the fancy escape clauses readily available to any an all who call themselves the power, the glory, the fame, the fortune...
As one of my favorites have cautioned, and the scorn may be worth the remembrance in the fade...
" your opinions... which are of no consequence..."
and that's a big if... '
you don't get the quote just right.
And remeber what they say on the tight side of the line next time you leave town believeing you'll get a parking space when you return...
" better learn to park right."
P.S. you can find my picture in Kroger Sstores nationwide if they haven't pulled their safety pictures for employee back manuevers... it's filed under human resources for QFC.
