They ran out of food. The Starbucks building descended on the airstream and bought everything. I waited in line for an hour and got the kobe burger. It was delicious. And no, Stu, it was the perfect portion, and not the reason obesity is a problem. Right before completely running out of food, the health department showed up. They were still there when we finally got our food, so I don't know what came of that.

and dude...they take all major credit cards and debit! sweet! no need for cash for lunch! please leave them alone health dept. please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we need skillet now more than ever!

I am one of the Starbuck folks who descended upon them. The food was awesome, but remember, it's not fast food. It's really great food served out of a tiny little airstream kitchen. Heard some folks complaining that it took too long. They make all the food TO ORDER. That alone is an achievement, but doing that out of a trailer is damn near God-like! Keep goin' Skillet. There aren't enough choices for food down here. You are a breath of beef scented air.

Anybody who was there yesterday in time to not get served what they wanted and catch the health inspector showing up to shut them down again knows that this place has more hype that bite.

Yes, the Health Department showed up on Utah St. and Skillet coincidentally "ran out of food" at that moment. They were operating illegally and agreed to shut down voluntarily. This is all public record stuff, no matter what they say... Nice way to compete with legitimate food businesses -- don't follow the rules!
