Can we just have one HUGE hip hop night at a club (with thick concrete walls) where guns are encouraged, and the booze is free? Once everyone is inside, we just lock the doors up for about 4 hours. The problem will just kind of "work itself out".

So nothing about the huge UW football expose in the Times?

Great Nixon Clip. Shirtless blonde guys in a political ad? Hi-larious. Thanks for posting, Bradley.

That Bedard trade is the worst news I've heard all year. One good starter for a probable star outfielder (who can actually play great defense, unlike any of our other choices) and a probable MVP shortstop, Carlos Triunfel, who is the best hitting prospect in baseball. We just got older, slower, and crappier AGAIN.

Don't get your panties all twisted, Fnarf, nobody's going to be able to beat the Red Sox this year. They will have, if anything, a BETTER team than last year.

Whew! At first reading I thought that the headline that said "LDS RIP" said "LSD RIP" and that Albert Hofmann, the discoverer of LSD, had died. But nope, he's still going strong at 102 (his 102nd birthday was January 11th).

Yes, 5280, but I'd like to make the playoffs, because once you're in the playoffs it's a coin toss the rest of the way, so we'd have a shot. But we're not going to get within sniffing distance of a playoff spot; we're probably going to finish at .500. And the thing about throwing your farm system away is that the pain doesn't really set in until two or three years down the line (when we'll be struggling to break .400).

Re: The Huskies. As a Cougar, I'm positively bathing in schadenfreude here. The UW athletic dept has now reaped what they sowed when they hired Neuheisel, against all sane advice to the contrary. Now they have a program that still hasn't recovered after two subsequent coaches. Colorado isn't any closer to being a serious contender either, and he's been almost ten years gone there. The man leaves destruction in his wake. UCLA deserves him.

I find it hard to see how schadenfreude extends to a freshman girl who was drugged and raped having to watch the KC prosecutor let her rapist go free because he's a big football star.

Keep projecting there, fellas. I'm cheering for a rapist? Where the fuck did that come from? How about blame the player (read: criminal) and the adminstration that covered it up?

why are you taking pleasure in the rape and coverup and exposure of the coverup?
