Best remembrance I've seen is here, from former Cheers writer (and, briefly, Mariners broadcaster) Ken Levine.

same for me, unPC. My first black-haired, dark-browed, dark-eyed crush.

Newhart had it good.

I posted that on MY blog, hours ago with a much cooler picture...

She was awfully good...the best whisky and cigarettes voice on television...and film.

maybe the cigarettes weren't such a good idea, though...

Well, it's about time you Slogsters got around to giving her a proper thread of her own! For shame.

I'm pretty sure that Suzanne was one of the last women with whom I would gladly have entered into sexual congress.

R.I.P. to a classy, classy broad.

Remember how on the B.N.show she often referenced her growing up in Seattle (as part of her character)? I really thought that was cool, Seattle was hip to me back then.

Bob Newhart cannot die, or be killed.

Sorry Michael Strangeways, nobody cares about your blog (or this actress for that matter)

No no, non--you're only half right; lots of us loved SP.

Nobody gives a shit about what's-his-face's stupid blog though.

It gets so mean when the girls come out to play.

So, non @10: Nine people before you posted about what "this actress" meant to them, but somehow you are self-centered enough to assert that "nobody cares" -- since you don't.

she did the wonderful voice of "yubaba" in spirited away. really standout. smoky, nuanced, funny, wicked, dangerous, wise.

Wow, non is really aptly named! Congrats on picking a nom d'plume that fits your non-exhistent personality. Also aptly describes your level of intelligence and charm! Sweet!

Toodles!

It's called a "plug", assholes...commonly done to promote one's projects. No one's forcing you to look at it. AND, it worked; several people went to check it out, so piss off.

"Plug" "Assholes"

funny stuff, without even trying...
