Seattle’s Sexiest Superheros

posted by on January 25 at 11:55 AM

God, people, you know a LOT of red-hot locals. It’s going to be extra difficult for the editors to winnow the contenders this year—there are already dozens of sexy women, boys, grrrls, boyz, tattoos, men, muscles, lips, and eyebrows in the lot.

Check them out. (They’re not all set to public, so log in or create a Flickr account to see all 131.)

Before you start complaining about the lack of over-fortysomethings, ethnic diversity, and ample bellies, remember that you possess the power to affect the mix—you have until February 1 to nominate the objects of your desire. Just upload your shots to Stranger Photos on Flickr and tag them “seattlesexy.”

If those are people Seattle thinks are sexy...well I totally understand why I am single.

Talk about the bottom of the bucket.

How come none of the tags say which sexiest the person is nominated for?

I totally do not understand this contest.

I would nominate Ari Spool for one of Seattle's sexiest, even though we don't get along, just on the grounds that she looks so quirky and fun.

I've got no problem the lack of diversity. I have a problem with the lack of sexy.

most of those aren't sexy or even remotely attractive! I'd love to see a poll on how many of the actual "sexy" ones are from Seattle and not transplants

Well, at least there were a couple of shots of people who appeared to be over the age of 30.

I suppose that's about as much as we can expect from this demo.

Well, despite the non-flattering picture, I'm pleased to see Amber from Finn MacCool's among the entries. Not only is she a great bartender/manager, she's fucking HAWT!

I also don't understand why most of the entries don't give a name or a the category for which the person is nominated.

At first I thought everyone was being negative, but then I took a gander at the photos. Yeesh. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

WTF IS WITH THIS PARTNERSHIP

No offence, but having moved here from Atlanta, Seattle is more than a few quarts low in the hottie department.

I revisit Atlanta annually and am blown away at how good looking the population is, both male and female. Granted Southern culture is to dress up when out and about, but clothing is only part of one’s hotness. Basic physical attractiveness is what we’re missing here in the Emerald City.

If you want a head turning volume of eye candy, tour around Hotlanta’s Lenox and Phipps Plaza Malls; you won’t be disappointed. I do a double-take perhaps once a month if I’m lucky walking around Seattle.

Did anyone take a pic of the cute bartender at Moe's?

Seattle men can be hot - if dressed sorta logger like and relaxed

Over done doesn't work for the guys 'cause they are rubes and out of their league

Seattle women are plain and mostly almost ugly, God helps us, and bad tempered as well

Naked and in the low lighting of candles, they, men or women, are OK to fuck, and, make a lot of noise, and are very passive

Been there, MANY times

Sadly, Seattle hasn't had been very hot since the day Frances Farmer left town...

Amy Kate Horn is hot. That is all I have to contribute to this.

I like the guy with the vacuum cleaner. But I'm a sucker for appliances.

@1, 7, 13, 15, 16, and others: Whatever, guys. I'm sorry that you're disappointed by the selection Seattle has to offer your refined palates. More for me, I guess.

I'd do Jermaine.

I wanted to submit someone who is way hot this year but the whole flickr thing turned me off. I wanted to submit in secret.

Are there going to be valentines this year? I haven't seen a call for them yet!

Why so picky? Sexy and beauty are not necessarily the same.
And tell me that a pic you took of a model would look anything like a pic of them on a magazine. Puhleese.
Plus a lot of sexy is something experienced and harder to capture in a photo.
Anyone for the Borg Queen? Just a photo (off the street much less) would not have done that experience justice. I'm tellin' you.
These are sexy day-to-day people. Try to bottle the pheromones, try!!!

That's a collection of what's left at last call. A hot mess.

Tatoos and piercing are not rebellious. They're signs that your a lazy poser. An Obama campaign t-shirt would be a lot sexier than your 'I got off the couch long enough to make a statement' tatoo/piercing.
