Say what you will about the Times (and P-I), but at least they pay their reporters a living wage, with decent benefits, etc. Ask the folks at the Stranger how their pay compares.

@11 -- a "living wage" at the Times? Where are you getting that information? Seattle Times reporters haven't had even a cost-of-living increase since the strike in 2001!
