It’s on tonight, right? If so—if it’s a new episode—I’ll be liveslogging the thing. So take your laptop to bed and join the conversation. First topic: Is this season the lamest yet? Is it the end?
I watched some old Santino, Daniel V, etc. season episodes and frankly, that season was just the best and this one pales in comparison. I'm keeping my hopes up for Season 5.
i think the issue is using all of these more experienced designers. the first two seasons, which were the best, they used people with much less exprience, and they were all a lot more fun and had more interesting styles. i really hope they go back to that after the past two seasons.
Yeah...I think it's time for new judges--they've become cliche in how they're judging and what their criticisms are.
I think part of the problem, too, is how many ways can you fuck with the designers--crap for materials, last minute changes to the challenge--and still make it realistic to design wearable clothes? They've used up all the "wacky ideas" and now they're left with boring.
I agree with konstant @5--get some good amateurs in there--college kids, hobbyists, second-career types--and see what they can do without getting all psycho on how to crazify the challenges.
i feel like they're going for a winner with broad commercial appeal this season, if the challenges are any indication. thus far there haven't been any "risk" challenges, it's all about making something ready to wear. that might also explain why they chose mostly experienced designers instead of newbies like past seasons. whatever, zzzzzzzzzzz....
I think VictorYA is going to win or at least make the final three, because she is the bitchy source of drama the producers want. The producers decide the winners and losers, not the idiot judges.
As far as being worse than past seasons, who can tell? It's early days yet. For me, Season One, with Jay and Austin and the magnificently evil Wendy Pepper and the raving bonkers model Morgan, is still the best. Is the format a little tired? Perhaps. I agree that I am sick of the Persimmon Princess Michael and his evil drag queen cohort Nina G, but there's more to the show than them.

Rami's going to win it. Ricky cries too much. I'm sick of Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

Looks new. What was with the weird hiatus? Assuming the show took 2 (3?) weeks off because ratings would suck during holidays.
Kevin could win, too, I guess. Straight guy fashion designer. If in fact he is straight.

Agreed this is the weakest season. I think I like Top Chef better now. Dan, were you just in the Walgreens on 15th? If so, what was up with that line?

Yes, I agree with #5 and #8.

Quick, Fnarf! Pimp Project Rungay! Or whatever.
I'm a gay without Bravo. Enjoy, everyone!
Taking your laptop to bed? My DVR shows it's going to record at 7pm on Bravo.
Piss off, Poe. Just because Anderson Fucking Cooper isn't stinking up the program, there's no need for you to get snarky.
Hmmm... this should be interesting- The designers have to make clothing out of materials from a chocolate shop.*
(The smart money is on Chris- it's obvious that bitch knows his way around food.)
*SPOILER ALERT. Don't read that last post if you want to be suprised.
