Can we get pictures of the building?

Maybe with commentary on the architecture?

Pretty genius to be having an event in this town right before the Seahawks play a playoff game.

Is this the real Obama organization, or the "grassroots" locals once again?

This is NOT the national campaign... this office will be run by the grassroots locals.

Is this a really long movie review?

No, I think it's the official organization.

How dumb is it for them to have ANY resources in Washington right now...

How dumb is it that they're doing it right at the same time the 36th District is teaching people how to caucus. Seems like all 36th LD PCOs who'd want to come to that should be in the caucus training instead.

How many times have we seen press releases about Obama "campaign" offices being opened? Can the media do a little background and be sure they're talking to campaign folks vs. people just acting on their own? Given the address, it sounds like the campaign is sending an official rep to sit in the unofficial office and, hopefully, give some order to the goings-on here.

There will be an official director, the office itself has been in place through grassroots volunteers for awhile, and will be kicking into official gear shortly.

This is a very smart move, as the campaign will not be pouring money in to the office, but will have some official presence and guidance (in what is an already quite well-organized grassroots movement.)

And you're a fool if you think it's silly to be prepared in our state. We are four days after Super Tuesday. By the way things are going, there is a very good chance that our state will matter, as the battle can rage on beyond February 5th very easily this year. We're the second largest state delegate-wise of the 10 states and territories voting/caucusing on the 9th.

Grant Lahmann is as grass-roots as it gets. He isn't some hired suit from "back east." He's from here, knows here, worked here, and he delivers the goods.

The Obama campaign had some terrific, battle-tested field workers from Washington on the ground in Iowa, and Obama supporters ahould be damn glad to have Grant working in this state. I worked with him before and vouch for him totally.

PLEASE KNOW THAT I AM AN OBAMMA SUPPORTER AND THAT OTHERS ARE USING “HIS CHURCH” TO DISCREDIT HIM. SEE THE E-MAIL BELOW (WHICH I RECEIVED FROM A FAMILY MEMBER!!!) AND PLEASE FORWARD TO OBAMA's Washington State Headquarters - or provide their e-mail or website.

THanks,

Obama's Church

Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting.

Obama's church:
Please read and go to this church's website and read what is written there. It is very alarming.
Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable
commitment to Africa . No where is AMERICA even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join
Obama's church... B-L-A-C-K!!! Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing.
Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his church! I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers.
This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of
our family & friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest
chance to be elected run for the presidency, is really scary.
