Look, what is the deal with Dennis Kucinich? Can't they just let the guy in? I think he's a tool, but denying him a podium makes the debate - and the Democrats - look bad.
I know some have all day and all night to sit around listening to Kucinich sing kumbaya. But the rest of us are busy people with jobs and families and we need to pick a nominee in the limited time we have to spend on this thing. I don't see how Kucinich is helping us make our choice; he's stroking his ego and wasting everyone's time.
Sweet!
Too bad I'll at the 43rd Dems tonight.
You are such a fucking masochist. We damn well oughta make these fuckers throw back at least five shots of tequila before they debate. Then we can see what they're really like, and it'll be super entertaining.
Mind you, if those were the conditions, HRC would take to drinking ten a day every day, just so she could maintain better than anyone else.
Oh noes! Elenchos needs to chose from four candidates instead of three. Tell me, which Democratic candidate is:
* Against the death penalty
* Against the Patriot act
* For the decriminalization of marijuana
* For impeachment of Cheney / Bush
the one who can't win?
This is not a game. Time wasted listening to Kucinich is time stolen from hearing what the real candidates have to say. It's important to realize that this guy is unpopular and the positions he takes become radioactive for the other candidates. Edwards can push an anti-corporate message and make it safe for the others to go there. Kucinich makes those same positions seem kooky.
The little prick also wanted to make a backstabbing third party bid with that white supremacist Ron Paul. The reason he isn't is not that he came to his senses; it's because Paul rejected Kucinich.
by all means lets just listen to some soothing platitudes from the 3 major candidates.
i bet they have something to say about "change". without kooch is the house, they won't come near a real issue.
but, elenchos, isn't his being there yet another reason why Nader isn't running? And that's not bad.
