Yeah, because of the pauses that was the best pic I took... The videos I put up on YouTube were utterly sad to watch as well.

Does not bode a good start to 2008. But I wish everyone a better year ahead anyway!

Agreed...pretty anti-climatic.

Someone told me there was going to be something new in this years fireworks display. I'm afraid however that new thing was lameness!

Budget cuts are hurting everyone apparently.

It's just an arbitrary measurement of time - year-endings/beginnings. One might as well say, it's just another day, but it sucked. In retrospect, much of the past sucks as if indeed amorphous objects can actually suck. And fireworks don't suck - they blow - up! Curmudgeon phase I of 2008 now terminated. Love to all.
