Kucinich and the New Hampshire Recount

posted by on January 11 at 14:00 PM

Two of the most respected liberal blogs, TPM and DailyKos, are describing claims of voting machine tampering in New Hampshire as “lunacy” and “knee-jerk.”

But, for those of you who still fear a cover-up, Dennis Kucinich is calling for a recount.

Yeah, they're nuts, Sven, but we all know you'd be right with them if it was Hillary that underperformed at the polls.

Why not recount just to make sure these ridiculous Diebold machines actually work? New Hampshire is a swing state after all.

tsm-

No, no, no, no, no. I would not have been right with "them". Did you not hear me say they needed to throw Andrew Cuomo over a (metaphorical) cliff for his stupid comments? Did I not also say all sorts of nice things about Obama after he won in Iowa? It's true I really do like Hillary, OK I love Hillary, but if Obama wins I will gladly support his candidacy.

It's hard to find radical centrists. Is that like "chaotic neutrals" in D&D?

Remember, if Kucinich drops out, Nader will run.

We really don't want that.

Again.

Remember 2000 and 2004.

Yeah, sure, there's no difference between Bush and xxxx ... (where did i put the sarcasm tag ...)

@5 -- wrong. If EDWARDS drops out, Nader might run--because Nader has already endorsed him.

Kucinich reminds me of Harry Dean Stanton in Paris, Texas. A bit greasy, confused and lost.

When is my beloved left going to get a good solid candidate.

Ron Dellums?

Kucinich is oversexed, underappreciated and wayyyy into doing the right thing. He's not Harry Dean Staton in Paris, Texas.

Kucinich is for real, and while he does get cranky at times, he doesn't turn mean and snarly like Nader (yeah, I voted for Ralph in '96 & '00). I saw Dennis speak once in DC and every single word was on target. He is the genuine Change/ Hope candidate. I don't understand why people fear peace-elves so much. Once the boomers die (at last) and the manga-generation is of age, there won't be this kind of prejudice. You'd think my mom could equate Dennis with Spock's short younger brother... but no-- she's for Hillary, the Borg, and the Partayay.

Kucinich is a certifiable loon. A Cleveland Plain Dealer reporter recorded him saying at a meeting in New Hampshire that he wants Ron Paul (a/k/a the "I never met a neo-Nazi that I didn't like" candidate) for his vice president. WTF??

I saw him do a debate on Logo, and he was the only one of the candidates that supported every single right gays are trying to get. Hillary and Obama didn't think gays should have every right a straight person has, but they did want to get rid of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", make sure every state allowed civil unions (but not marriage), and both of them plan to pass the Matthew Shephard Act.
It would be really great if Kucinich won, but I don't think he will. He's just too liberal, and I don't think America's ready for that. My guess is that Hillary or Obama are gonna win!
