Will @ 3: I wish! But we won't really be able to ignore them unless we eliminate the reason we send troops into thrid-world basket-case countries in the first place: oil. To that end, I suggest you:

1. Stop driving. And stop using public transportation powered by gasoline.

2. Stop using anything not made entirely from inputs within horse-drawn-cart range.

3. Stop using plastics. That includes kitchen utinsils, pipes and wiring, clothing and camping gear, and consumer electronics.

@2 - Where is your head (besides up your ass)? We went over there to impose "our" values on those people. Of course, if they were imprisoning republicans, then the Prez would cry 'human rights violation'.
