Yeah, interesting, but I wonder if WANOW.ORG realizes their domain registration expires this year, and after 10 years of paying it, I'm not going to be doing so again.

Anybody want comp tix to PUSA? They're on Facebook ...

re- the grandy comment ...

Yeah, everybody got all snippy, but he started the ball rolling with his little bratty-toned post.

just sayin.

Side note ... why is a bratty post and snippy comments highlighted in the Line Out roundup. That kinda ... makes me want to read Line Out much less than I already do.

i read eric's question and thought it was pretty negative and bitchy but then again that's what the stranger excels in so why does anyone care? i mean the stranger can hardly be called a newspaper with any journalistic integrity. *yawn*

I interviewed Kimya in September of 2006 when I was at KUOW. She brought her baby into the studio and sang about said baby. It was all sorts of awesome. Audio can be found here:

I'm pretty sure it was Kimya Dawson I saw open for someone at the Triple Door a couple years (?) ago, and I was pretty sure (and kinda hoped) I'd never hear from her again. Really not a very enjoyable time, though I will say her stuff worked well in Juno and maybe my initial assessment of her was a little uncharitable. But still not a huge fan. And I'm sure she's a wonderful human being.
