That reporter is awful. Her attempting to play disciplinarian made her look like an idiot when he just shrugged it off, and made him look like a hero to all of his peers.

What a scold and a bore that reporter is. The kid is right - the party was a total success, and his glasses are famous. The apologies offered by most people on TV are completely fatuous anyway (Mel Gibson much? Michael Vick? Kramer?) so it's cool that he refuses to be sorry. I'm sick of this rainy and uptight town! I'm going to Melbourne!

Its not the idiots watching the news that need to be apologized to, its the actual people effected. He should refuse to apologize to that jackal. She is just trying to fuel her and her audience's self-righteous indignation.

That reporter goaded the guy into bragging. The more she tried to humiliate him the more he was backed into a cultural corner of having to act cool. Watch how he starts willing to recognize there were things to apologize for and finishes off gloating at the results.

He's a douche. But really, is it his fault that his party guests couldn't control themselves, and vandalized neighboring property? Isn't this the same thing as when people leave a club in downtown Seattle and start causing trouble? I thought you guys were against holding the club responsible for that. Isn't this the same thing?

He should apologize for his brain-dead demeanor and lack of fashion sense. But the responsibility for everything else lies with the actual perpetrators, not this tragic Cobain worshipper.

I thought the reporter was great to back him into a corner like that -- gave him an opportunity to show how vain and arrogant he is. Some kids will think it's cool, but you can bet others will look at this and suddenly realize, "oh my god, he really is an idiot!"
