I used to work in the Seattle Times advertising dept, and the main consensus there is, if you haven't worked there for 20+ years, you are probably one who's desperately trying to get out. Almost every person there is job hunting during their downtime. Not only that, but just after a few weeks of starting my job there there, a guy who worked as a CSR for 10 or so years was finally leaving his job to go travel around Asia. In his bitter e-mail sent to everyone in the office on his last day, he said "get out, reach for the stars, it's never too late to be happy." That's when I knew I wouldn't last at the Times and what do ya know? I quit.

Oh, and also wasn't happy I was "on" Percocets at work...My back DID go out again, (largely because I'd gone back to work too soon in the first place) and I didn't go to work the next day and she fired me....it's a lovely company to work for.
