And I didnt know writers wrote the jokes for these awards until just now. The writing is never funny so i always thought the presenters wrote their parts. Many things went unspoken, compared to this most recent version which has to explain absolutely everything through irritating and superfluous narration of Anne's innermost thoughts.

They also completely botched my favorite scene, when Wentworth arranged a ride for the overfatigued Anne. You would have to have read the book to understand what was going on.

The mark of a good critic - even when you disagree with her/his choices for movies, you can find what you need in the review to figure out if it's worth seeing.
