The great secret of Ronald Reagan that no one talks about is that he knew he was right and he, to a great extent, ignored the bleatings of the New York Times and the Washington Post. He ignored the polls. He knew what had to get done, and he did it.

Liberals hated him for his tactics, as they do Rudy.

But they loved his results, as they do with Rudy's work in NYC.

We need Rudy.

I hope the good people of Florida agree tomorrow.

You're on crack. Rudy was a terrible mayor, a terrible answer to 9/11, and is running the worst campaign in history. He's finished.

Anybody but McCain, who could actually - gasp! - win it all.

You know, as much as I like the idea of the GOP fighting until the convention, I want Rudy Giuliani crushed, utterly destroyed. I want him to be humiliated to a degree that people laugh at him during his withdrawal speech. That man is such an evil bastard that I want him to lose bladder control during a press conference.

Rudy is just yet another failed Mayor, and not even a very good failure at that.

Florida will dump him out to sea with the rest of the Republicant trash.

Like? Appointments like Kerik and Harding? Police brutality under his watch? Falling crime rates that pretty much matched national trends?

I understand the sentiment, but I think this is a misguided effort. If Clinton is the democratic nominee, I'm offering my official seal of guarantee-atude (tm) that the Republican will win. I don't like him, but clearly McCain is the only Republican that won't totally run the country (much further)into the shitter. If Guilianni somehow managed to win the nomination, we'd be at war with Iran in the blink of a camel's eye.

@8

Are you saying the rest of them won't? I thought Les Paul was the only one with any sense. (And not much, at that...)

In one of the gazillion debates, didn't all the Repubs stand up for attacking Iran? (Except Paul.)

Just asking - honestly don't remember.
