Many many fond memories of drunken karaoke at 'da sunset. The bowling pin style buds bottles were cool. RIP Sunset!

I just called Sunset Bowl and they'll be closing down in the middle of April.

In case you were unaware, they are tearing down Sunset, Ballard market, burger king, the strip mall and the gas station to put in.......

Seattle's first Wal-Mart.

No joke.

On a different post announcing this someone looked up the records of the purchase and it was bought by Avalon, who constructs high end apartments...not Walmarts.

OK. I give.

Please, O Cool People, please tell me why the fuck Garage Billiards & Bowl is not good enough for you.

Elenchos dear, when you were undoubtedly just a slip of a thing, with pigtails and a pinafore, I proposed the idea of a Capitol Hill Bowling Alley (or, to be formal, a Brunswick Gold Pin Family Fun Center) to the scion of a midwest bowling empire. And was promptly told I was a fool, with no head for the bowling business.

So I see where you're coming from. But I don't see why Garage should be our only option, we who live to conquer the pins.

GULP -- WALMART?! PLEASE tell me you are, in fact, joking, and merely said you weren't just to eff with us all.
