Despite her advocacy for the drug companies—she argued incorrectly that the bill held drug companies and health-care providers to a different standard than legislators, who she absurdly claimed don't have to disclose gifts—the bill passed out of the health care committee today, 5-4. The bill died in the senate rules committee last year.... Which makes it entirely reasonable, in my opinion; advertising giveaways shouldn't be able to sway anyone smart enough to get a college degree.
