Was one of the bars Shorty's? If not, they have it there.

It'd help if we knew where you'd already gone. I know that Rewood has it. As does Twilight Exit, and it's always in good shape. Canterbury as well. And I think I saw it at King Cobra, but I'm not sure. Sadly, you JUST missed Happy Hour at Gameworks.

Go to the Canterbury! They have it! and shuffleboard, and foosball.

Posted by blah! | January 26, 2008 7:03 PM

King's in Ballard has it.

Posted by Explorer | January 26, 2008 7:06 PM

Yeah, the Twilight if you haven't already hit that up. It's also apparently at Sunset Bowl.

Posted by The General | January 26, 2008 7:10 PM

Ballard Bar & Grill, or "3 B's" on Leary gots it.

Posted by montangie | January 26, 2008 7:26 PM

i find it hilarious that people know what arcade games are at which bars.

Posted by Bellevue Ave | January 26, 2008 7:26 PM

Big Buck Hunter is not an arcade game. It's a way of life.

Posted by The General | January 26, 2008 7:28 PM

The wife and I do this thing we like to call "big buck hunter" but we had no idea they make a machine for it. If it's anything like the way we play, I'm not surprised the equipment keeps breaking down.

Posted by elenchos | January 26, 2008 7:29 PM

The Twilight exit actually has regular buck hunter not big buck hunter.

Posted by Too Much Time at the Twilight | January 26, 2008 7:30 PM

Big Buck Hunter Pro at Ed's Korthaus, Lenny's Tavern, King's Hardware

Posted by blip | January 26, 2008 7:38 PM

The Meridian theaters downtown have one on the second floor, I think you can get up there without buying a movie ticket too.

Posted by bobking | January 26, 2008 7:39 PM

Alki Tavern has this game with a great view of the city.

Posted by buck | January 26, 2008 7:40 PM

This is really what Slog is all about. People helping people. Sniff.

Posted by Dan Savage | January 26, 2008 7:46 PM

And backpedaling. And helping people.

Posted by superyeadon | January 26, 2008 7:49 PM

@14, see, and everyone thinks we're so mean and snarky.

Posted by gnossos | January 26, 2008 7:59 PM

@16, yeah! people who think that are stinky, worthless dumbass knobs.

Posted by pissy mcslogbot | January 26, 2008 8:22 PM

I think the story here is that EricafuckingCBarnet was the first to reply to a question regarding Big Buck Hunter on a Saturday Night. What with all the brewhaha about the comments this week...

Also, LMAO (as usual) @ 14.

THE SLOOP in ballard! the old sailors talking to themselves really adds that extra oomph when shooting buck

Posted by mark | January 26, 2008 8:26 PM

Not a bar, but I'm almost positive Beth's has it.

Posted by k | January 26, 2008 8:32 PM

If you really want to go slumming, I think the Rolling Log in Issaquah has it.

Posted by Jessica | January 26, 2008 8:47 PM

Hey, you can buy your own for about $5k Or you could buy a DVD of Bambi for about $15, but I think that they did that "limited edition" thing with it, so you might need to look for a second hand copy. BTW, Cottontail and Snowshoe Hare are in season if you want to go after Thumper. And since this is the Slog, I suppose I should add that Cougars are in season too.

Posted by Epimetheus | January 26, 2008 9:00 PM

I thought my friends and I were the only ones into Big Buck Hunter!

Someone already said the Canterbury... well, I have seen it at Stewart's in Snohomish.

Posted by !!!! | January 26, 2008 10:12 PM

Hey, you know who this made me think of? Buck Angel. Remember Buck Angel?

Posted by Kiru Banzai | January 26, 2008 11:00 PM

Spelling brouhaha incorrectly has been a sin ever since it was cool to quote Ms. Stroud from Dazed & Confused.

Just sayin'.

Posted by Mr. Poe | January 26, 2008 11:25 PM

I'm not sure how I feel about so many Sloggers taking the Twilight Exit...

Posted by right side of the hill | January 26, 2008 11:59 PM

The Dock at 36th and Woodlawn in Freemont has it plus a pool table.

Posted by Renoun | January 27, 2008 12:03 AM

Earl's on the Ave has one if memory serves.

Posted by Giffy | January 27, 2008 8:33 AM

So..... where did you end up going??

Posted by ehh.. | January 27, 2008 9:20 AM

@ 10: I stand corrected. And since so many Sloggers seem to be into it, is there a Slog-sponsored BBH Tournament in the works!?

Posted by Matt Fuckin' Hickey | January 27, 2008 11:11 AM

Is it still true that the Twilight Exit bartender calls Last Call by revving up a chainsaw and waving it around?

Posted by NapoleonXIV | January 27, 2008 11:41 AM

I concur with The General @8.

But I have had a hard time returning to Big Buck Hunter proper, ever since I met (and lost my heart to) Big Buck Hunter PRO.

Posted by als | January 27, 2008 2:47 PM

@31 Not one of the bartenders - the old door guy. But, not really to call last call, he mostly just did it if he got bored. I learned last night that the chainsaw now hangs in memorial off the back of the building above the door to the deck. Apparently he came and left it there recently after he was fired. He liked to climb on the roof. Also @23 - you thought you were the only group of friends into Big Buck Hunter? Really?? Everyone loves that game. Don't you go to bars to play it? This confuses me. You must go to unpopular bars where you never have to wait your turn or something.

The Zoo Tavern.
