Nice energy. Original in the way it looks like everything is hanging down. Dynamic. Is that music I see falling off?

Comment by LAWRIMORE project

Hmm...

C.V. vs. C.V. and Work vs. Work certainly presents an interesting pound-for-pound match up, but their projects are so radically different, "ripoff" seems a bit harsh if not myopic.

See the comparison for yourself at the artist's gallery websites.

Reafsnyder at the link provided above, and Dodge at ACME, Los Angeles.

Thanks for bringing Reafsnyder's work to our attention though #13.

of course they are different.. I actually thought Reafsnyder was not quite enough... They have one at the Portland Art Museum on the 4th floor.

PS Portland's Jesse Hayward (who is either a sculptor or painter but I cant figure out which?) is extending the language into installation: http://www.portlandart.net/archives/2006/09/jesse_hayward_a.html
