Wow. Can't say that's too much of a surprise though. He looked horrible in that episode of Law & Order a couple years back.

Spell his name right, Christopher.

Would have been nice if you could have spelled his name correctly when you reported his death. just sayin.

Would say I'm not surprised but I didn't know who he was, not terrible in the Client though. His character was a Led Zeppelin snob though

Posted by vooodooo84 | January 15, 2008 11:26 PM

Led Zeppelin snobs are awesome.

Heroin tends to get you in the end. What a shame.

He was one of my first crushes.

I was more of a Devon Sawa guy.

This reminds me of when Jonathan Brandis committed suicide, too bad they couldn't get their shit together. RIP boys.

My apologies. I meant no disrespect to the dead. It's been fixed.

Posted by christopher frizzelle | January 16, 2008 1:26 AM

A River Phoenix, he was not.

This sounds like it probably will be natural causes. Unlike Jonathon Brandis who I think was murdered.

Remember, drugs are a victimless crime. Legalize them!

Heroin is bad, mmmmmKay?

Posted by Mr. Mackey | January 16, 2008 8:29 AM

This might be a better fate than Eddie Furlong's. The Furlong appears to be melting over the course of several dismal direct-to-dvd crapfests. Pretty soon he'll just be a chubby puddle of goo oozing around a shabby hotel room waiting for his dealer to show up. I think he was also on a Law and Order recently.

Yes, drugs are a victimless crime -- you take heroin, you victimize only yourself. The victims of the heroin market are created by prohibition, not users. Can you take yourself out using drugs? Sure -- just like you can take yourself out eating Twinkies or snowboarding recklessly. You can also fuck yourself to death. But Twinkies, snowboarding, and sex aren't and shouldn't be considered crimes.

They should at least stick around long enough so as to be recognized by old geezers like me.

I don't have a clue who this guy is.

Posted by NapoleonXIV | January 16, 2008 8:49 AM

i have never heard of this person till now. i have never seen any of the movies he has acted in.

does "Led Zeppelin Snob" mean he didn't like Led Zeppelin?

Posted by max solomon | January 16, 2008 8:52 AM

@7 - Blaire, me too! As was Jonathan Brandis...I hope JTT and Elijah Wood are in a safehaus somewhere. My adolescent love apparently brings about tragedy.

The media is saying "We're printing this because nobody more famous died." It's like when ESPN has time to fill and they show poker matches. It's not that we want or need it, it's just they have to put something there.

Posted by Jason Josephes | January 16, 2008 8:55 AM

who? so?

Posted by The CHZA | January 16, 2008 9:06 AM

It means he LOVED Led Zeppelin. And Susan Saranwrap totally gives him the throwdown on their discography.

Posted by Mr. Poe | January 16, 2008 9:07 AM

oh. bcuz is DID NOT like Led Zeppelin for a long time - till i realized it was redneck Led Zeppelin enthusiasts i don't like.

In "Apt Pupil" Renfro appears in an unforgettable student shower scene. Given that Ian McKellen [a closet Nazi that Brad is blackmailing] co-starred, backward reels the mind.

@ 11, I'm guessing alcohol. And Jonathan Brandis (my biggest preteen crush) committed suicide, he wasn't murdered.

I had big crush on Brad Renfro as a kid. So sad that he is gone.
