I'm still holding out for the biggest possible endorsement, even bigger than Oprah's. And that would be one Al Gore. I know extending an endorsement could compromise Gore's new image as an international icon who transcends the rough-and-tumble of American politics. But that's precisely why a Gore endorsement would be so much more valuable than your garden-variety politician's endorsement.

(And hey, I don't even need to say whom Gore would endorse.)

I don't Kennedy's endorsement for Obama will have the big bang effect today--while he has a history behind him, I think he is perceived as a relic of the past. The more important ones have come from conservative to middle of the road dems like McCaskill, Ben Nelson and Gov Napolitano-AZ.
