where would I be without Charles' posts of beautiful women?
They seem to be both fashionable women, Charles.
This is a brick house.
I always thought the term was "built like a brick shithouse"
Wild random question : perhaps different people have different tastes?
Incredibly precise thought : you are an absolute imbecile.
Both are attractive women; is boob size related to bricks? Is this a str8 male thyang? How do women feel about bricks?
Charles, did you take a vow to never say 'tits?'
I know what Charles means.
I have always wondered if " built like a brick shithouse" was a compliment like one lover told me??
Give the young girl a break; she's obviously got a few years to add a few more "bricks" to her "house" and catch up.
Rosa Luxemburg wept.
Obviously, picture two is Angela Chase, and thus not a brick house.
Also, both women are hot, but in different ways.
If the second one was a boy... he'd totally be my type.
More to the point, what are they doing at the Golden Globe awards?
Brickhouse or not, what happened to Workers' Solidarity?
The brick house is wearing a nicer dress.
Mudede is absolutely correct, the top of the second woman hangs off her like those magic Mormon underwear, small breasts can be sexy but only if worked with properly.
Charles, you don't like blondes. We get it - really. But if you keep insisting on using SLOG to post your juvenile jack-off fantasies, me and the other ladies are going to come over the the Stranger offices and whack your pee-pee. And not in a nice way. It's worse than the ramblings about philosophy, or architecture, or economic systems.
Claire Danes = supernummy in "Stardust". Plus the fact that she's supposedly a home-wrecking bitch weirdly adds points.
Dan beat me to referencing the Schmader's Favre/Danes post. Of course. Damnit.
I only see women. Where are the brick houses?
Whack a pee pee!!!!
I wish someone had gotten this "lesson" to the Supermodel of the World judges.
Guys, he's talking about architecture, right? He's talking about structure, balance, stability. Danes here doesn't have any of those, and Bellucci there has them all.
is it not true that men are valid and valuable just as they are? and they deserve respect?
just like ...... women?
you know, brick is a relative term. in earthquake-prone regions of the world, brick is not flexible enough to withstand earth's tantrums. brick is therefore fragile. brick, therefore, tends to fall down.
it even tends to kill people at much higher rates than other construction materials and is seen as anachronistic, and inferior.
And I thought he was just referring to the song "She's a brick house."
At first I thought that there was a documentary in the works on the Amanda Knox murder. But, now I am beginning to think it is a real movie with a real celeb. If so, congrats!
The first woman is mighty, mighty. The second woman is not. I think it's posture more than anything.
Man, I had a huge crush on Claire Danes in high school. My So-Called Life remains a guilty pleasure.
Their bodies seem very similar, except for cup size. Fnarf is right, this is just a difference of posture.
Posture, maybe ... I have to admit I like the first one better. Is that Claire Danes? Maybe I grew up, she was totally my first crush in high school. I played guitar, wrote bad poetry (I had a hit every once in a while), and wanted to be the mysterious bad boy ... (I had to look it up, I couldn't remember)... Jordan Catalano. But when the girls said I reminded them of Brian Krackow, oh god I was SO crushed. In hindsight it's quite funny.
@12 LOL, that's what I thought when I saw the pictures.
Charles does illustrate The Commodores' definition "She's a brick----house
The lady's stacked and that's a fact".
If we were in another part of the country, the day and the examples he chose would be poignant. But around here I'd probably be in trouble for even thinking that.
meh to charles.
I think its the faces, the first is looking off-camera with sultry mystery, the second is staring off past the camera with a bored forced smile. Attitude is everything (and posture)
Oh come on... that is NOT just posture. Even with a bit more support it wouldn't compare.
Does anyone really believe that Charles would kick either of these women out of bed? I'd certainly tuckpoint either one of them.
You and I have had our differences, and you KNOW I'd call bullshit on you at the drop of the proverbial hat -
- but, I have to say, for this one brief moment in time, I'm with you 110%.
There's just no comparison: Monica Bellucci is so hot in that photo, she could set a brick house (shit or otherwise) on fire!
And HOLY CRAP! She's 43 years old! That's TOTALLY in my age demo!
Beauty isn't relative, everyone who's sane prefers Monica Belluci. The rest are either crazy or just faking to sound cool.
Posture, facial expression, and how about camera angle?
Whatever it is, 100% agreed.
@36, You are entitled to your opinion, personally I think "any anymore than a hand full is wasted", and of the pictures shown here, I like #2, but since you mentioned a name (I didn't know who either of them were) I looked up Monica Belluci and found Wikipedia has a picture of her in the same outfit as Mudede's "Women of Italy" post, perhaps from a little earlier in the evening, and, OK you are right "everyone who's sane prefers Monica Belluci", however, if you click, the Wikipedia picture and look at the full resolution image, you might, depending on your preferences, reconsider, she looks to me about my age, which I consider a plus, but unfortunately I am actually rather older. Considering that Martha Stewart (yes, I'm a freak) is 22years older than Monica, one might question Charles comments on the aging of Italian women, or maybe he's looking a about a foot lower than I am.
But to be pragmatic, the first picture looks like unless you are George Clooney you won't get a second look, but the second looks like she doesn't really want to be there, and if one offered to make her a cup of tea, draw her a bath and massage her feet, one might have a chance, well, not me, but someone.
I think I screwed up my last post, when I LOLed at @12, it was because when I first saw the picture, I thought, except for gender, that looks like Dan's type, (I like her as a woman). Except for reading his column, I don't even know Dan, which is what makes it funny, I wonder if 12 really was from Dan?.
Danes looks like a less-hot Cameron Diaz, or like Billy Mumy with hips. http://www.uncleodiescollectibles.com/img_lib/Billy%20Mumy%20520%208-29-6.jpg
My god, I'm agreeing with Charles two days in a row. Someone hold me? Monica?
yes, collagen-injection does make one age better (take a closer look at monica'a lips). claire will probably be doing the same in 15 years.
i meant "monica's"
She's a brick----house
Mighty mighty, just lettin' it all hang out
She's a brick----house
The lady's stacked and that's a fact,
ain't holding nothing back.
My God, just what the world needs - a Marxist Melissa Rivers.
